GLENVILLE -- Leamon B. Farrar, 77, of Wagon Wheel Lane, Glenville, died Thursday, February 22, 2001 after a long illness. Born in Southwest Harbor, ME, Mr. Farrar was a graduate of Washington Academy in East Machias and saw active duty in the Navy in the Philippines during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. After graduation from Husson and Bentley Colleges, Mr. Farrar joined the General Electric accounting staff in Lynn, MA. Assignments followed in Erie, PA, Pittsfield, MA and Schenectady. At his retirement in 1987, Mr. Farrar was manager of Consolidation Operations for Accounting Services Operations, with 35 years of service. During his career, he …
