NSW: Police officer charged with sexual assault granted bail
SYDNEY, April 23 AAP - A NSW police officer, charged with sexually assaulting a man
while on duty, has been granted bail in a Sydney court.
The 36-year-old male officer from the Surry Hills Local Area Command was arrested this
morning by detectives.
He appeared in Waverley Local Court today where he was granted bail.
The alleged offence took place at 5am on April 6, while the officer was on duty, a
police statement said.
He has been suspended from duty and charged with one count of sexual assault.
