Montana publisher headed for Glens Falls; Rona Rahlf will replace The Post-Star's James Marshall, who retired.(Capital Region)

BUTTE, Mont. - Rona Rahlf, publisher of The Montana Standard since 2004, has been appointed publisher of The Post-Star in Glens Falls, Lee Enterprises, the parent company of both newspapers, said Wednesday.

Rahlf replaces James Marshall, who retired in March. David Stoeffler, former Lee vice president for news, has served as interim publisher of The Post-Star since then.

Rahlf began her career with Lee in 1987 as an advertising sales representative for a shopper in Billings, Mont. She later advanced to Thrifty Nickel manager and specialty publications manager.
