Fed: Terror bombers ready to strike: report
Indonesian police believe a team of up to 15 suicide bombers is ready to strike ata series of unspecified targets.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports today that ASMAR LATIN SANI, believed to be the suicidebomber responsible for the attack on Jakarta's Marriott Hotel recently, was a member ofLaskar Khos.
The group's name is said to mean special force in Arabic, and denotes its positionas a sub-group within Jemaah Islamiah, the organisation fingered for carrying out theBali bombings.
Other reports in Indonesia claim that a man detained by Indonesian authorities hasconfessed to leading Laskar Khos, which has between 10 and 15 members prepared to carryout suicide attacks.
