Michael Sprenkle paid himself $10 a day to kick his two-pack-a-day habit. After a few months, he had enough money to begin buying supplies for an organic gardening service, Plant-It-Earth Organics, that he started in May. Sprenkle creates gardens using no chemicals, pesticides or inorganic fertilizer.
He was able to afford a backyard greenhouse for his Manchester Borough home, where he grows annuals, perennials and other plants for his three clients.
